The main greenhouse was constructed from a preexisting bard in which the original old rock structure has been utilized and incorporated into the current building making it architecturally very unique. The incredibly beautiful gardens are a haven amidst the Nebraska prairie that is absolutely breathtaking. The many water fountains, unique pottery, sculptures, exotic plants and trees along with an extensive natural product line which include Teri’s appetizing herbal cooking blends and her natural tinctures will definitely reward your trip. We cook with many of her herbal blends and can testify how tasty they are. "Enchanting and inspirational is what Ricky & Lucy’s Country Greenhouse is to me. I became aware of this ‘green gem’ by researching how to transform a building into a functioning greenhouse, and upon my first visit, I knew I had contacted quality experts. The early 1900 barn is a delightful reminder of country days gone by, and the full greenhouses provided all the information I needed for my own project.
Quality customer service can’t begin to describe the attention proprietors Teri and Dan gave me. It was evident their commitment to organic, natural living radiates from their many gardens. What a place to wander, relax, and renew! No sooner had I marveled at one garden, I would turn a corner to see more and more beauty. I doubt there is any type of flower, herb, or vegetable I didn’t see during my tour, and I only wish I had arrived in a larger vehicle so I could have taken more items with me!
I live in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Ricky & Lucy’s is 150 miles from my front door. Without a doubt, this is my favorite greenhouse, much more forward thinking and healthy than anything I have seen in my home state. What Teri and Dan Wolff have created just north of Sidney is nothing short of a miracle.
