Greetings from Ricky & Lucy's Greenhouse!
Fall has certainly been busy, hasn't it? We hope you've transitioned to cooler weather without too much trouble. Here at the greenhouse, we've had much to accomplish over the past month: harvesting produce & putting the bounty into the root cellar, cleaning out our many garden beds, planting bulbs & a last few trees, shrubs & perennials, bottling herbs for the greenhouse shelves, tending to poinsettias, etc. Of course, we've come to the conclusion that it never really slows down here! This time of year, we have an even bigger abundance of tasks to accomplish before the first snow. Always a lot to do-so little time. We're so thankful for the food harvest; in the dead of winter, we'll have food to eat that reminds us of warmer summer days.
Here I am with some of our soon to bloom poinsettias that will be ready just in time for your holiday decorating!!
